From my understanding, Library 2.0 is a library with web 2.0 technology and ideology. The most important feature of Library 2.0 is changing the single-channel service to an interactive method. Library 2.0 offering online service to clients and encouraging feedback from clients.
In the past, if a client needs information about a book, he/she has to seek it from a librarian. Nowadays with Web 2.0 technology, a client can use eLibrary, eCatalogue, and read reviews left by other clients about the book or magazines he/she requests.
A client could enjoy events held by a library at any time under the Library 2.0 circumstances. Libraries put events pictures and records online, which clients can easily access without considering the distance and their schedules.
